Lawless Design: Year in Review

Do you feel like the year flew by? Because the year flew by! With the time going by so fast, we tend to forget all we accomplished the past twelve months. As I'm reminiscing on all that went down this year, I have a question and a statement: "how did we stay sane?" and "we are so blessed to do this work with this team!". Let's recap.

January

We revamped the Lawless Shoppe with new pieces. All new vintage vases, rugs and furniture.

If you haven't checked it out yet, click here. We always say every home needs some vintage for depth and that lived-in feeling.

February

We did a photo shoot of #projectcrafstmancottage. There's a blog showcasing all the pictures of this shoot and the meaning behind some of the finishes. See more here.

March

We installed the furniture at #projectstonehillfarm. This charming home overlooking the Vermont mountains is a perfect blend of nature and cozy.

April

We started designing custom vinyl for each client with a playlist of their home. It's a sweet parting gift once the project is complete and it's a reminder of us everytime the customer plays it in their home.

May

We hit Brimfield Market to find special vintage pieces for some of our projects and for the Lawless Shoppe.

June

We did our first walk-thru video of a finished project; #projectstairwaytoheaven. This Boston townhouse is charming and timeless; you can watch the finished spaces here.

July

The Lawless Living podcast launched! This is a space for us to have organic conversations about interior design, business, wellness and sustainability. Listen here and let us know what else we should talk about in 2024.

August

Part of the LD team went to a wellness retreat in the Hamptons and yes, we vlogged it all for you. Watch here.

September

Our Founder & Lead Designer, Hannah Oravec, attended the Well Summit in DC. She got her Well AP when she was doing hotels and restaurants full time, before LD. Now she uses that information and implements it into the residential and boutique commercial spaces we design. If you're not familiar with the Well Accreditation, read more here.

October

We were featured in the Boston Globe with #projectcraftsmancottate. You can read the full article here.

November

Our Founder & Lead Designer, Hannah, went to an Interior Design conference in the west coast that gathered interior desigm professionals from accross the country. She came back with tons of new information on how to better the business such as new systems, processes, templates and new friends in the industry.

December

We game planned for 2024! There have lots of great changes coming to our social platforms and client experience.

In all, between new and continous work, we've touched over 20 projects this year. We are so thankful for every client who trusts us with their home, we quite literally couldn't be here without you. To all of the followers and blog readers, thank you! You make our work so fun and we love hearing your take on design.

Happy 2024!
