The Ten at Ten

You can never have too many plants in my book. I mean, thats a lie, but still! However many plants you can have in your that you are able to take care of is okay in my books. We have multiple plants in every room in our home besides our guest rooms.

I just love the fact that they give off better air quality and actually facilitate happiness! I wrote a blog post awhile ago about the reasons why you should have plants in your home. Take just a minutes to read through and you will officially make up your mind that you need plants, too!

But when you get a bunch of plants, you need some snazzy planters, now don't you? I like mixing up different materials, shapes and sizes for planters. You don't want it to look like you went to a one stop shop and bought all the same planters!

Personally, we have a combination of terracotta, ceramic, stone and glass throughout our home. They are all different shapes and sizes, too. We have little table top ones for our mantels and tabletops, and then large ones for the floors.

Varying the types of plants is also a good idea! We get ours from the local garden shop, but if you live in the city like I used to, The Sill is a great place to get them delivered to your door!
