THE TOP 11 BOOKS THAT ENTREPRENEURS SHOULD READ

Being an Entrepreneur, I've had a lot of inside reading from fellow entrepreneurs. And I can't lie, a lot of them were recommended to me by Mike. Here's my top eleven most recommended books for you guys, in no particular order.

1. THE SLIGHT EDGE - JEFF OLSEN

"The Slight Edge is a way of thinking, a way of processing information that enables you to make the daily choices that will lead you to the success and happiness you desire. Learn why some people make dream after dream come true, while others just continue dreaming and spend their lives building dreams for someone else. It’s not just another self-help motivation tool of methods you must learn in order to travel the path to success. It shows you how to create powerful results from the simple daily activities of your life, by using tools that are already within you."

2. 4 HOUR WORK WEEK, 4 HOUR BODY, TOOLS OF TITANS (LETS FACE IT, ANYTHING TIM FERRIS WRITES) - TIM FERRIS

"Forget the old concept of retirement and the rest of the deferred-life plan–there is no need to wait and every reason not to, especially in unpredictable economic times. Whether your dream is escaping the rat race, experiencing high-end world travel, or earning a monthly five-figure income with zero management, The 4-Hour Workweek is the blueprint."

3. GOOD TO GREAT - JIM COLLINS

“Some of the key concepts discerned in the study,” comments Jim Collins, "fly in the face of our modern business culture and will, quite frankly, upset some people.”

4. NEVER LOSE AGAIN - STEVEN BABINSKY + JAMES J. MANGRAVITI

"Negotiating is an art. It's complicated. To become an exceptional negotiator traditionally requires years of experience in negotiations. But that doesn't mean that most people can't quickly and easily learn proven negotiating skill and techniques if someone shows them what to do. This book does exactly that."

5. WILD - CHERL STRAYED

"At twenty-two, Cheryl Strayed thought she had lost everything. In the wake of her mother’s death, her family scattered and her own marriage was soon destroyed. Four years later, with nothing more to lose, she made the most impulsive decision of her life. With no experience or training, driven only by blind will, she would hike more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State—and she would do it alone. Told with suspense and style, sparkling with warmth and humor, Wild powerfully captures the terrors and pleasures of one young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that maddened, strengthened, and ultimately healed her."

6. WHO MOVED MY CHEESE - SPENCER JOHNSON

"Exploring a simple way to take the fear and anxiety out of managing the future, Who Moved My Cheese? can help you discover how to anticipate, acknowledge, and accept change in order to have a positive impact on your job, your relationships, and every aspect of your life."

7. EAT, PRAY, LOVE - ELIZABETH
