PROJECT CAPE CHILL

As a second home, our clients came to us wanting to design a space that would be a family retreat. Their request, to create a “Cape Chill” home. As we narrowed down the aesthetic for the home, we landed on keeping classic Cape Cod colors with whites and blues, while pairing it with some more sleek and modern style pieces.

We didn’t want the space to feel too on the nose with it being a beach home, so we added in various elements with artwork, natural fiber rugs and lots of wood furniture pieces evoked that look. To brighten up the space, we gave the entire home a fresh coat of white paint.

The home was completely emty when we started and we had two months to completely furnish and accessorize the space before Thanksgiving. We took on the challenge and sourced the decor from small and local businesses. In true Lawless fashion, we added in lots of vintage decor throughout, too. A lot of the artwork in the space is from a local photographer, too.
