Lawless Trail
Visual communication involves the synthesis of complex information
into simple, understandable messages. In this alchemy seemingly
unrelated objects or ideas are often merged to create a
new meaning. This notion was apparent to me in childhood
as I mixed boxes of car models to create a new hybrid vehicle
or when I cut up Life Magazine and pasted Richard Nixon’s
head on LBJ’s dog. You know, the one he used to lift
by the ears.
I began formally working in graphic design about the time
the first Mac came out. Design so infused my life that on
car trips my children would not just read the signs, but
critique the letter-spacing.
I have worked with organizations
large and small. Consistent in my relationships is the ability
to not only solve the problem at hand, but in the process
make my client a hero.
I have made many such heroes. Maybe I can make you one.
Maybe not.
